THE GARDEN
The Garden is a dystopian short animated film about a man imprisoned by an authoritarian regime, torn from his family and stripped of his freedom simply because of who he is.
The General’s chilling monologue is inspired by actual statements and rhetoric from a high-ranking U.S. government official. These words serve as a reminder that the language of dehumanization and exclusion is not confined to fiction or the distant past.
The film is fictional. The rhetoric behind it is not.
